Hōsen (宝織), meaning "treasured weave," is a celebration of Japanese textile heritage, timeless craftsmanship, and the art of preservation. Built on the iconic Air Jordan 1 Low Travis Scott silhouette, this creation reimagines traditional materials through a contemporary lens, bringing together three distinct textiles, each with its own history, texture, and character.

The upper is meticulously reconstructed using vintage Japanese kimono fabric in soft pink, repurposed from an authentic mid-20th-century kimono sourced in Japan. Its intricate weave creates a distinctive texture reminiscent of natural python scales, offering the visual richness of exotic leather through the artistry of traditional textiles. Premium Italian velour suede in deep taupe introduces a refined contrast, while cream Japanese diamond-pattern fabric draws inspiration from traditional geometric motifs symbolizing harmony and balance. Every panel is carefully hand-cut and stitched in-house, preserving the character of each material while giving it a new purpose.

A meeting of past and present, Japanese heritage and Italian craftsmanship. Hōsen is more than a reinterpretation of vintage textiles—it's an expression of considered luxury, where materials once treasured are transformed into something entirely new.
